We LOVE the school holidays because there is so much more time to play with LEGO®!
The Bricks2Learn LEGO® Club has been running at Gloucester Guildhall every school holiday, (except at Christmas!) for nearly 5 years, and has a regular following of Junior 'Master Builders' that enjoy playing with LEGO®, and especially like not having to clear up the bricks afterwards!!
The sessions are organised and delivered by former Senior Teacher and LEGO® Certified Trainer Alyson Thomsen, the author of "Thera-Build® with LEGO®" (enhanced CRB/DBS checked + insured) and the emphasis is on structured free-play.
All children are welcome to join us, and the recommended age-range is 6-12 years. Children sometimes book in small groups, with a friend or sibling, or as an individual enthusiast, who will soon make friends within the group, as we are all LEGO-Crazy!
Please note: This is not a workshop, where the children all follow the same build-guide and produce the same model in the same way, and the bricks don't get taken home!
***Located at Gloucester Guildhall, a thriving entertainments venue and events space in Gloucester City Centre***
There is a café-bar on site in which to enjoy a well-earned rest whilst the children play. There is also direct access from the Guildhall into the centre of Gloucester City, for those wishing to catch up on a few chores whilst their children are safely entertained.
An emergency number is left with our staff should we need to contact you urgently. There are toilets and First Aid facilities on site.
The closest car park to the venue is King's Walk. There is a door straight into the Guildhall from Level 3 if you park up on the roof. We are located in "The Blue Coat" Room.
